Under the 'Great Western Railway (Swansea North Dock Abandonment) Bill' it was proposed to authorise the Great Western Railway to abandon the North Dock at Swansea and to authorise the Corporation to acquire lands and carry out works (described as Work No 5) for the widening and improvement of Harbour Trust Road, Swansea.
This agreement aims to resolve opposition to the bill by 2., who feel they will be injuriously affected by the carrying out of the work. 2. will not be put to any expense due to the works, except that they will pay rent to 1. for the additional lines. 2. will not make any claim against 1. for any losses which may arise for dislocation of tramway traffic due to the works |
