| Description | 'This was drawn up by Evan Daniel, sexton, 1832-52. He was then employed part-time until 1857, when the churchyard was closed. The book contains a few notes on St. Mary's church and a detailed list of contents, followed by inscriptions. Daniel wrote 'My intnetion was to recopy this book in a more perfect manner' and this 'more perfect' copy is now in the strong room of St. Mary's church, and is inscribed 'John William Morris ... from his friend Evan Daniel, Jan. 1861'.' |
